You can add Four/Four to ChatGPT as a custom app that searches your conversations, insights, topics and CRM data and links back to the source. ChatGPT calls Four/Four's MCP server using your sign-in. Searching is read-only; ChatGPT can also create and apply labels and start topic models. See the MCP tools reference for the full list.
Requirements
A Four/Four user in a workspace with an active plan.
A paid ChatGPT plan with Developer mode enabled in ChatGPT settings. Adding a custom MCP server is currently a ChatGPT developer feature; this is a ChatGPT requirement.
Add the app
In Four/Four, go to Analyst, click Use MCP and open the ChatGPT tab. It shows the name to use and the server address
https://fourfour.ai/mcp, with a copy button. In ChatGPT open chatgpt.com/apps (Settings > Connectors) and click Create app.
Enter a name, paste the MCP Server URL and click Create.
When asked, sign in to Four/Four and click Authorize.
In a chat, click + near the message box and select the Four/Four app, or ask ChatGPT to use Four/Four.
Example requests
"What feature requests have come up most in the last 90 days? Include links."
"Compare what mid-market and enterprise customers say about pricing."
"Write a case study outline from conversations with Acme."
Troubleshooting
No Create app option: Developer mode is off, or your plan does not support custom apps.
Sign-in fails: remove the app, create it again and re-approve access.
ChatGPT does not use Four/Four: select the app with + or name Four/Four in your prompt.
Permissions
ChatGPT sees only what your Four/Four user can see. Creating and applying labels and starting topic models depend on your role; without the needed permission, ChatGPT cannot do those things. See the MCP tools reference for how tools are offered by role.
