The Salesforce integration connects Four/Four directly to your Salesforce CRM, letting you pull in key sales and customer data for deeper analysis. The integration is API-based and supports most standard Salesforce objects used for sales tracking and customer management.

What you can do with the Salesforce integration
Pull detailed information from standard Salesforce objects like Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Products, User and Currency Type (if you use multi-currency).
If you use Salesforce Service Cloud, you can also pull in Case and Case Comments.
Salesforce Voice users can connect Call records to Four/Four for analysis.
You can import from custom objects by creating a Salesforce List referencing your custom object and configuring Four/Four accordingly.
Four/Four uses this information to give your insights and topics firmographic and financial context, making the information truly commercially useful.
You can also embed Four/Four directly in Salesforce with our Lightning App - see your Four/Four data and use the Analyst on Opportunities, Leads, Contacts, and Account pages.
Custom fields can be imported as search filters in Four/Four, so you can aggregate and report on your data using your own fields.
How it works
You make the initial connection using OAuth, either with a Salesforce admin user or a dedicated service user.
Four/Four pulls data from the relevant Salesforce objects based on what’s available and your configuration.
If you use Service Cloud or Salesforce Voice, Four/Four will include those objects, provided you've opted in.
Conversations and insights in Four/Four are linked to Salesforce records, letting you see which accounts, opportunities, contacts or leads mention a specific request or issue.
Our Lightning App is available through the Salesforce App Exchange. Once installed, you can embed Four/Four features (and insights) directly inside Salesforce pages so users see all relevant conversation data right alongside their CRM info.

A Four/Four licence that covers CRM integrations
Salesforce access with admin permissions (or a designated service user)
For custom object support, you need to create a Salesforce List referencing the custom object for Four/Four to pull from

Standard integration pulls Opportunity, User, Contact, Opportunity History, Product, Account, Lead and Currency Type if you use multi-currency. Service Cloud adds Case and Case Comments. Salesforce Voice pulls Call records.
How do custom objects work?
Create a Salesforce List referencing your custom object, then configure Four/Four to pull from that list.
Is the connection secure?
Yes, OAuth authentication, with options for admin or service user accounts. Plus Four/Four always sends requests from a single IP address - making it compatible with Salesforce's IP restriction features.
Does Four/Four write data back to Salesforce?
Optionally yes if using the Four/Four notetaker. In this case we write Activity records to Salesforce when meetings are recorded by the Four/Four service.
Four/Four doesn’t edit or overwrite your Salesforce data.
How do I install the Four/Four Lightning App in Salesforce?
Install the Lightning App from Salesforce App Exchange, then add Four/Four components to the record page layouts you want (Opportunities, Leads, Accounts, Contacts).
Can I see Four/Four information inside Salesforce?
Yes, if you have the Lightning App installed, Four/Four panels will show relevant insight information for each record type you pick.
What if my Salesforce setup uses custom fields or objects?
You can configure Four/Four to pull from custom objects by creating Lists in Salesforce. You can configure custom fields as search filters in Four/Four so you can aggregate and filter by your own data.
How often does Four/Four update Salesforce data?
Data is updated every few minutes.
Does the integration work if we use multi-currency?
Yes, Four/Four also pulls Currency Type when multi-currency is enabled.
Is Service Cloud or Salesforce Voice required?
No, these are optional. Standard integration is with Sales/CRM objects.
