Google Meet

How to get Google Meet conversations into Four/Four using the Notetaker or a manual upload.

Written by Chris Lloyd

To analyse Meet conversations, either use the Four/Four Notetaker or upload recordings yourself.

Record with the Notetaker

The Notetaker is a bot that joins your meetings, records them and sends them to Four/Four. It finds Google Meet meetings through your Google Calendar, picking up any calendar event that has a Meet link. It must be enabled on your plan; contact your Four/Four team if it is not available.

  1. Go to Settings > Connections.

  2. Under Productivity services, connect Google Calendar.

  3. Each user chooses in their own settings how the Notetaker joins their meetings: Join all, Only join organized or Don't join. The default is Only join organized.

Upload a recording

If you already have a Meet recording, you can add it manually.

Go to Conversations, click Upload and drag the video onto the upload area.

Four/Four creates a draft conversation and opens it. If you have no transcript, Four/Four creates one from the video.

Permissions

Uploading a recording needs permission to upload conversations.
