My Profile

Edit your name, job domain, photo and notetaker settings, and manage your conversation alert emails.

Written by Chris Lloyd

My Profile holds the settings that belong to you as a user: your name, job domain, photo, notetaker behaviour and conversation alert emails. To open it, select your name at the bottom of the left-hand menu.

Details

  • Job Domain is your role in the business and is used to label you in conversations.

  • Reset password sends a password reset email to your address. It is hidden when you signed in with single sign-on (for example Google, Microsoft Entra or Okta) or a sign-in link, because your password is managed by that provider.

  • A photo can be a PNG, JPG or GIF up to about 5 MB.

Notetaker settings

The Notetaker settings section controls which meetings on your calendar the Four/Four notetaker joins.

  • Join all external meetings on my calendar.

  • Only join external meetings on my calendar where I am the organiser.

  • Only join meetings I manually invite the notetaker to.

The notetaker always waits to be admitted to a meeting. To send it to a specific meeting, add the notetaker's email address as an attendee on the calendar event. The help icon next to the heading shows that address.

Automatic joining requires an external calendar to be connected.

Conversation alerts

The Notifications tab holds your conversation alert emails. Changes there apply as you tick them and are not part of the Save button. For frequencies, defaults, adding alerts and which conversations qualify, see "Alerts & Notifications".

Permissions

The Notetaker settings section appears only if your role has the "Edit my notetaker settings" or "Edit all notetaker settings" permission and you can record conversations. Administrators can connect an external calendar under Connections; other users should ask an administrator.
