The Aircall integration imports answered calls, together with the transcription produced by Aircall AI Assist, into Four/Four. Four/Four generates insights from those calls and links them to your CRM records. It does not transcribe Aircall calls itself, so only calls that Aircall has transcribed are imported, and transcript quality depends on Aircall. The integration is read-only.
Requirements
An Aircall admin to authorise access.
Call recording and transcription turned on in Aircall. Transcription requires the Aircall AI Assist add-on. Aircall has an article on getting started with transcription.
Connect Aircall
In Four/Four, go to Settings > Connections.
Under Call recording, find Aircall and select Connect.
Sign in to Aircall if asked and approve access for Four/Four.
What is imported
Four/Four checks Aircall every five minutes and also imports your Aircall users. Only calls that were answered and have an Aircall transcription are imported; missed and unanswered calls, and calls without a transcription, are skipped. If a call is still in progress or Aircall has not finished it, Four/Four checks again every 15 minutes for up to six hours. For each call, the Aircall user and the contact are added as participants along with the transcript.
The first import covers the previous 90 days; after that only new calls are picked up.
Filtering by call line
Each imported call carries the name and number of the Aircall line it used. In the conversation filters, choose Call line and pick a line name. The list contains every line name found in your imported calls. The name is the one you gave the number in Aircall, so calls on an unnamed number have no line.
Troubleshooting
Not connected: Aircall has not been connected. Select Connect.
Syncing...: the first import is running.
Authentication failed: Aircall is rejecting Four/Four's access, for example because the connection was removed in Aircall. Select Disconnect, then Connect and approve access again.
Calls missing: check that the call was answered, has a transcription in Aircall, and that the Aircall user is covered by AI Assist.
Disconnecting removes Four/Four's access. Calls already imported stay in Four/Four. Call recording rules are controlled in your Aircall admin settings; consult your compliance officer if you are unsure about them.
Permissions
Connecting or disconnecting Aircall needs the Manage connections permission, which admins usually have. Without it you cannot connect or disconnect Aircall.
